Enrolling in a TAFE NSW Microskill

A step by step guide for students and parents enrolling in a free TAFE NSW Microskill, from TAFE NSW Manufacturing Centres of Excellence.

Step 1: get a USI

A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is a free number from the Australian Government USI Registry. It needs one ID document, such as a full birth certificate, a Medicare card or an Australian passport. Do it at home with a parent or carer.

Step 2: enrol with TAFE NSW

Create one TAFE NSW account, log in, and complete the enrolment application with the USI. Finish at least a few days before the first session.

In the session

Log in to the TAFE NSW Student Hub, open the course, work through the lessons and pass the quiz to receive a digital badge.
